    Thanks for explanation. Maybe, I'm not even sure what Gold Members are

      You're welcome. Gold is like premium IIN. Unless they've changed the features, the special abilities you get are:

      - being able to send PMs (Private Messages).
      - being able to know the number of people who are currently in chat.
      - your posts going through moderation at a quicker pace.
      - being able to go into the Unmoderated Post section to decide what posts get to go through or not, or if the user is underage.
      & - a variety of colors you can change your username to.
