I debate this with myself too. Years back, I used to be more open on the site by the things I'd say (I never gave out things like my address or full real name), the links I would share and my email. But, now I worry about getting harassed or someone finding me offline or even someone who knows of my other profiles and finds me on here.
I'm not intending revealing my real name, address or email address on here, just more personal info which could confirm my identity to anyone who already knew a bit about me from elsewhere.
However, it sounds as if you weren't actually harrassed or found offline, am I right?
There's the thing, I don't know if anyone has tracked me down or recognised me offline. For instance, Flickr used to show the exact places photos where taken. I took some photos from my home and the map listed the street where I live. That was terrifying. Thankfully, it is no longer shown. But, it concerns me how many people might have drove by my house, hoping to see me.
I've inadvertently made enemies on here, that seem to love following my comments. I would consider some of it harassment but, they probably wouldn't.
Lol what. -You- have made enemies on here? I'm honestly surprised. I had to glance at your username again to know if it really was you. Unless you were being jestful or sarcastic when you said the enemies part? The little while I've been here, I haven't yet stumbled upon anything enemy-esque about you. I am soo confused and intrigued right now haha
Is it normal to want to reveal more personal details here?

Honestly, I think I may have misinterpreted the situation hence the Usige of enemies. Sometimes, my thinking gets a little fried.
