I've given various information over the years. I wouldn't post my address, but I'm sure someone could even find that in the phone directory or back ground check if they really wanted and figured out my last name, which a few people here know because they are on my facebook.
There are certain very easy ways to find someone online if they reveal enough information.
Your last sentence is exactly what I'm concerned about, but then a do have a good security system and a guard dog if anyone did find out my address and try to harass me
