I'm too materialistic for that, because I wouldn't want to be a minimalist. I would love to have a big house, and some land with lots of animals, but my cats would stay indoors, and maybe a couple of the dogs would be outside for protection. I would also love to have a nice big fence around all of it!
I used to be that way. The place you describe is what I have now - big house, several acres and lots of creatures around (wild ones), no fence though. But I’m tired of all the expense and maintenance.
Regardless of where I end up I must always have at least 1 cat or perhaps a dog. My ex was always talking about minimalism, but it austere for my tastes. He was always making me watch videos on YouTube and these so called tiny houses.
Is it normal to want to retire early and live in my motorhome?
