Is it normal to want to put a relationship off for your friends?

So, me and the guy i like have about 11 REALLY close guy friends to us (yes, i am a girl). And we both love each other deeply, but our "circle" doesnt handle change to well. Last time either of us dated someone the whole group got really pissey! And yet everyone else is dateing someone OUTside of the group. And we want to be together, we just dont want to upset our friends. Whats SUPER annoying is that they all look happy when we are alone. What do you guys think? Should we just go with our hearts, or move on to other people? Sometimes my friends can be real overprotective pains in the ass!

Is It Normal?

  • Your real friends won't criticise you for doing what you think is right in your life. If they do criticise you, I agree with kamilion: fuck 'em. You don't need "friends" like that in your life.
