Is it normal to want to punch rude people?

  • just dont serve them. i dont know where you live but in australia the worker has the right to refuse service to any customer without giving reason. and your employee must respect your right to work without harassment; ie if you get fired for refusing to serve a dick of a customer, you can sue your boss.

when i worked in a post office (prime target for dick customers) my favourite tactic was to be SUPER nice to them and grin as hard as i could etc. they can tell you are trolling them but there is nothing they can do. then you deliberately take ages/fuck them around etc.

of course i only did these things if being legitimately nice to them didn't make them treat me better. so yeah. the best thing to do is not punch them, but to be too nice. it's also more satisfying because it makes them more pissed off but able to do less- if you punched them they would kick your arse/sue you.

    • I can see where that helps the employee but this is truly the case what if for this scenario there is an employee who is just a lazy dick? So decides not to serve a customer just because they did not feel like it. Even if the customer is willing to pay and is very polite? Does that mean they are expected to leave?
