Lots of music from the 80's "hair bands" Twisted Sister, Van Halen, Def Leopard, etc. have music that falls into the category what your looking for. Also Air Supply, Richard Marx, and many many other "Easy or Soft Rock" that would really enhance the mood. I'm not able to think of other bands right off hand.
