Is it normal to want to know what people's lives are like?

I find people interesting and I like knowing what is going on in their lives, how they feel about it, and their background. When they tell me I don't take it in just a positive or negative sense, just helps me understand them more. I worry sometimes I might come of as gossiping but I keep things requested to be private, private. One of my favorite things is to talk to someone new and learn about them. I do ask personal questions but I don't push it if they don't seem they want to answer. Does this seem like I'm being too nosy?

    Totally normal. I think it means you care, actually. Some people might say it's nosy, but I think it shows genuine concern for others. Especially because you respect their privacy when they ask for it.

    Is a natural curiositity. as huamn beings we are aways wondering about the unkown, some more so than others. I wonder about a lot of things, that being one of them. it's quite intersting to know what other people have done in their life.
