My opinion is that it is normal. Violence is in human nature; the Romans, you think the audience came to watch bloodbath because the prisoners deserved it? No, they didn't. They came to watch it for sport, they'd even engrave the names of their favourite competitors in the granite benches. Fantasizing about slaughter is not the same as doing it. If the opportunity came to you and you took it, without any witnesses, then that is not normal. If that is the case, it could denote hidden sociopathic personality. Fantasizing is not doing, as wanting is not receiving.
