Is it normal to want to have sex with another female?

I am a 40 years old female, and have always been straight, although I have had fantasies about having sex with another woman. I now have a female friend whom I find myself really attracted to, and I find myself thinking about having a sexual experience with her. I don't know if she would be into it, and would never bring it up with her, in case it ruined a good friendship. Just want to know whether the members of isitnormal find this normal or weird

Get drunk with her and ask her if she's ever had a lesbian experience. You can feel the situation out from there.

My wife is 47 and has several fantasies about other women. She has never had any girl-girl experiences, but that hasn't stopped her mind from creating fantasies that really get her hot and worked up. In fact, her strongest fantasy involves her best friend (but she could NEVER say anything as her friend is a very conservative christian who would completely freak out).

So, it is definitely normal. For us, we just incorporate it into our fun at home and watch some girl-girl porn to help satisfy her curiosity.

I have been in a relationship for four years (since I was 11) with my best friend and we discovered sex through 'practising how to kiss' during a sleepover. It is the most natural thing in the world to want to give pleasure to someone you love. Does it really matter if it is a girl? I can not rule out having sex with a boy though I have never done that, but I am deeply in love and we are brilliant together so why fix it if it isn't broken?

I think you are a bit off key there, Gspyder. I did not say I have never heard of bisexuality. I just always thought you were straight, bisexual, or gay from the start. To have been straight for all this time, and suddenly having these strong feeling toward someone of the same sex is what has caught me off guard a little

Seems pretty normal. Yeah, who knows though? She might be gay too.
