Is it normal to want to have a name change just purely out of desire?

There is nothing wrong with my current name, yet I feel that it could be so much better. Also, do you think it's worth changing it considering the fact that everyone would have to adapt to my new name?

    Just do it if that's what you want. I'm on my fourth surname and also changed my middle name decades back.

    It's a nuisance changing everything on official documents but most people will just accept it, although family members who've known you all your life may find it difficult for a while
