Thank you for understanding! :) I hope I don't have to talk to too many doctors who will refuse to help me out. I'm tired of explaining myself. It's like "Look I'm sorry I don't have the mommy gene!!"
Out of curiosity... and you can totally say it's too personal of a question, but I gotta ask... Did it in any way affect your sex drive? It's my only concern, so I was just wondering how it went for you..
No effect on my sex drive. I have always had a high sex drive, and I still do now.
I did not notice any change in my body at all, actually. I stayed home from work recovering for 3 days, but I felt ok and I didn't need any help or anything. Just kinda sore and bloated (during laparoscopy they put air in your abdomen so they can see better -- it takes a day or two for the air to reabsorb).
My scar is the size of a grain of rice, inside my belly button.
By the way, there is a recent study that came out that shows traditional tubal is more effective than non-surgical Essure. I used to recommend Essure to childfree women (I am active in the community), but right now, I'd say get a traditional tubal until they fix whatever the issue is with the Essure implant. Really glad I went the surgical route!
IIN to want to go under a permanent birth control at the age of 22??
