I see. You care enough to want help = not a sociopath. But I'm not a doctor so I don't really know for sure as I don't have the expertise and don't know you personally. And sociopaths get in trouble often because they are not afraid of losing their freedom, that's their main problem, that they are more or less fearless and that leads them to do stupid things. Many conditions mirror symptoms of sociopathy, many have have sociopathic traits but aren't sociopaths. I used to think I was a sociopath too until I realized I really do care about others in my life. I suggest you see a professional, I am and hope it will help.
