I was going to demonize you but erased what I was going to say. Considering that this is just an urge and not something you actually do, I could chalk it up to an evolutionary primal instinct.
It's just like... I meet a lot of women that I want to have sex with. One night stands specifically. But even though I have the urge I have never pursued them in that way. Not mentioning before ~22 when I was somewhat desperate and horny but I didnt have great luck with girls back then anyway :P
Add that to the fact that it can actually be a turn-on to try to get pregnant with a partner (who consents to it too) and this is not as wildly abnormal as I originally thought. The 42% normal seems about right
