Is it normal to want to get diagnosed with schizophrenia?

Watch a show called Perception on TNT, if you have that channel. It pretty much shows an ideal reason, or at least from your perspective, why schizophrenia wouldn't be a bad syndrome. Plus, the main character is pretty interesting.
