Is it normal to want to cut off my emotions completely?

    Its not healthy to store all the emotion up. If you arent emotionless then you shouldnt try to be because it will only make you suffer in the end.

      You're right. Although, I think emotions make life ten times harder than what it really is. :/

        Without emotion I dont think we would of progressed so much as a species. It is a bad thing for the individual but a good thing for a society.

          Bullshit... Emotions actually get in the way of thought and simply lead to more bad than good. Do you think that if we had less emotion, that any world war, crimes, or even most murders would have happened? Progress can happen by simple needs and has worked so far....

              Why would you want power if you didn't feel like you needed it? A great deal of wars have been motivated by greed, and very few wars are used to gain power, but rather to assert power already there.
