You can't speak for anyone else. You can't speak for your family. Maybe they'd be happier if you were in a coma but the far more likely outcome would be them feeling devastated
You also need to keep in mind that a coma isn't necessarily a reset where you start with a clean slate feeling optimistic about your future. I've read accounts of people who described their experiences in a coma and some of them sound like literal nightmares, like a woman who felt like she was trapped in a coma for weeks (she was in a coma for a few months in reality) and the entire time she was in a plain white room with the ghost girl from The Grudge
You don't need to be in a coma to find success and happiness. What it sounds like is you need something to help you recalibrate
