  • Dude the minimum wage is a nowhere near a livable wage and security guards make maybe 2-3 more an hour. If they are increadibly lucky. Are you ready to live in a room in someones house, eat top ramen and shop at walmart for everything, for the rest of your life?

    Lay of the pot bruh.

    • The living wage where I live, for one person, is ten dollars an hour. Security guards here get paid at the very least that much. Living in a room in someone's house? What? Looks you're the one who needs to lay off the pot. Get your facts straight.

      • What is the average rent there mate? Cause your income is going to be around $1200 a month IF you get 40 hours a week.

        Do a budget.

        Living wage = extreme poverty.

        • Living wage: a wage that is high enough to maintain a normal standard of living. You do realize the living wage includes rent, right?

          • I don't care about government bullshit. Do the actual brass tacks math and get back to me.

            $10 an hour x 160 hrs = $1600

            Minus tax!! $1200-$1400 left over.

            Yearly take home $14400 -$16200.

            2017 poverty line:

            1 person $11,770
            2 people $15,930

Wow, you'll be living the dream !!!

            • I never said I wanted to live the dream. I want a job that is enough for me and just me. Your first sentence is enough for me to realize you don't listen to reason. Government bullshit. Lol, great excuse. Think what you want.

              • Mate I live on what you are attempting and trust me you DO NOT WANT IT.

Living, feeding yourself, getting by, finding gas money to get to work BECOMES your job. Work becomes a respit from the hellish pit of despair that life is, when you live at the poverty line. And yes I am single. No kids.

At this point you're either the dumbest person on here or just trying to act like an idiot for attention. Maybe both.

I don't give a fuck what you do. Just don't ask the government for any fucking assistance. Then you'll be stealing, yes stealing, my hard earned dollar.
