    Your friends aren't your friends if they won't accept something you enjoy if it doesn't effect them negatively.

    Hey, if anything, It filters out who of your friends actually care about YOU and not what you enjoy. If they don't care/mind about the furry stuff, thats a good friend imo. ^^
