We are all selfish to one degree or another whet do you mean by non moral? Morality is subjective not objective. What you consider moral might not be the same as someone else. Don’t ask for a world of saints. And don’t pretend like you are one cause that is not the case for any of us.

The fact that we aren't constantly defending ourselves from rape, theft and murder means people are basically ok, they may suck, but most people just want to live in peace.

Accept people as they are individually. The world in total isn't bad, because you live in it and are a good person, therefore there are many other good people out there.

It'll take some time and practice, but if you can read people accurately enough, you can pick and choose the kind of people you want to surround yourself with and as well as who to avoid. I hope you find good people out there and make a few friends.

Depend on no one except yourself, then you will suffer less disappointments.
