I think you may have misunderstood. He *was* friends with one of the group. But now he's having to take sh*t from them.
And don't quote me on something I didn't say. He is free to walk away *IF HE CAN*. All I said was there are situations where we have to be in the same environment.

He "was" friends with "one" of them, that doesn't mean he left the group entirely. Where does it state here that he has left the group? All it states is that he has fallen out with one of them, and he doesn't even explain himself to have cut him out of his life, just that he doesn't consider him a friend anymore.
Yes, he may not be allowed to change enviroment, that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to change group. Obviously you haven't taken anything I said into consideration. Your whole point implies that because he can't change enviroment, he should look for a different group to get in to, and because he won't escape them entirely, he shouldn't even try get out the group.
