you are only 18, therefore i think being single is a good idea. there's lots of great people out there for you to experience, but how will you ever do that if you are tied down to someone you chose at the age of 16.
you are too young to choose a lifetime partner at the age of 18.
we all seem to think we "know our own minds" at that age, but find out later that we do indeed mature and change.
the fact that you are questioning it shows that staying together is probably not in your own best interest.
