you are aboslutely right, it does not have to cost money to romance your partner. i would love to come home one day to find that my boyfriend has written me a romantic note and left it somewhere like in the medicine cabinet where i would find it unexpectedly :)...and yes it is normal to want romance from your partner once in a while, it creates the sense that you are wanted...
