"How do I even get to the conversation that will lead me to telling her what I want her to do?"
Oh boy here it comes... DON'T TELL HER WHAT TO DO! ESPECIALLY IF IT'S ABOUT HER OWN BODY! Just because a woman is hot and sexual it doesn't mean she wants to get pimped out. My advice is drop it. This isn't the kind of question where if she says "no" you just accept it and get on with life. The worst answer isn't "Nah, I don't feel like it" the worst answer is "What! How could you even ask me that?" Sir, a fantasy is a fantasy and you're not weird for thinking those thoughts. But don't expect things to go to smoothly when you tell your wife you think it'd be hot if she pimped herself out.
There are plenty of men that have a fantasy like yours. They normally take it by steps. Instead of asking your wife to have sex with another man tell her that you want to see her masturbate while you watch. That's a good step one.
Too bad. I mean really what you should consider is this....
COMMUNICATION
both of you create a list of your deepest sexual fantasies
a list of what you never want to try
and a list of what you don't want but will try if your partner wants it.
sure it means baring your soul to your partner and it can be scary but... you may also find that some of your fantasies match up too
There's actually something like this online. It's meant for artists who do erotica to tell commissioners what they will or will not draw, but couples could easily use it to map out their fantasies too.
I know I'm into some weird things. My boyfriend and I go onto a very private sort of cam site for fun sometimes. :P I always thought sex work would be fun to get into, especially some sort of cam thing or modeling, but I'm sort of afraid of doing something so tabboo. I feel like a lot of people who become more well known with that become trapped into that sort of work. I don't want my career as an artist to suffer because society is prudish.
I can imagine going to intervie with google someday and hearing "well, we found some incriminating photos of you on the internet..."
Is it normal to want my wife to be a call girl or an adult actress?

Completely agree.. I'm not thinking of asking her! It was just a matter of speaking.

you might also want to check out polyamory weekly
although they often focus on open relationships, much of their advice can also work for just regular couples too
