Pretty simple: Go upstairs to take a shower when she's downstairs. When you hear her come upstairs, walk out of the bathroom naked and act surprised. Fumble for the towel. Pretend to try to cover up. When you're dressed, apologize. This is the key. Play it off like you're really embarrassed. Then you can pull the "I thought you were downstairs excuse" and she'll believe it. If she's cool, she'll won't make a big deal out of it.
