Is it normal to want McDonald's to stop giving out toys?

  • We have a problem with them "encouraging" because we watch tv where they actually pay to advertise. You have to view a lot of something to be tired of it. Try NOT watching so much tv. My son is outside more often than not, so his interests relate to such. Therefor, I guess, I don't see them advertising to me who doesn't care, or my child, who only seldom cares. They don't market to kids, they market to people Walmart is successful for the same reasons "If they are going to bring their kids, then get shit that kids want" Do you see adult stores with kiddy toys? No. Because we don't take kids there. Yes, the company aims for money, however, it began with the idea of one person. It graduated to today's vision because we told them what we are willing to do (i.e. bring our kids to make them fat and happy) Don't want to, stop going, stop your friends, but don't blame McDonald's. AND my mom worked and still, for some

    • reason, does I don't care whether they stop the toys or not. I care that we as humans still blame others for shit they have control over. It's just stupid And I was joking about being angry. It is sad that you try to use that technique...."If you disagree then I'll laugh and say you're mad" Just like you and the other thousands here, I just want to be heard....read lol

      • I don't watch more than two hours of TV a week. I spent most of my childhood outside. Your ranting and raving related little to any argument that I made and I'm finished. I don't give a fuck about the marketing aspect. I give a fuck that all of this plastic garbage is being handed out to people who don't give a shit. I'm as big of a proponent as personal responsibility as any but I still believe in corporate responsibility but considering that you can't get an argument straight I'll just admit that I've wasted my time here.

I know all of shit you're saying should mean something but I'm not going to waste one more minute trying to figure it out.
