Angry that again, even online, people never think things through. Why attack kids. I would agree with EVERYTHING if kids had real power. It's on the parents. You think they should stop because YOU didn't like the toys so you threw them away or left them on the ground? Why did your parents 2. NOT get the toy you didn't want 2. Teach you to appreciate things, cheap, expensive free, anything as a young person. Not just with this, but anything? 3. Why didn't they recycle, and/or teach you to. All the aspects of good parenting. McDonald's did their job, families have to do theirs.
Read the reply I gave the poll creator..hopefully, you'll also see my side.
I did. And you're trippin' balls. If the only happiness kids are getting is from a happy meal, then there is a serious problem with the parenting here. Children need more than cheap, plastic shit to be happy and if all you had in your childhood was toys then no corporation's marketing schemes would change the emptiness and sadness of your life. No one is attacking kids and you're off your meds if you think that McDonald's exercising a little bit of environmental responsibility is an attack on kids.
My parents taught me plenty and most of it was lost on me until I grew up. You're making a huge deal out of something *I* didn't give a damn about as a kid. None of the kids did. We weren't spoiled, greedy little brats and we believed that those toys were shit and they're probably still at the bottom of a goodwill bin. There are plenty of things that my parents can be called shitty for but depriving me *OH LORDY* of a cheap piece of plastic isn't one of them.
You're being really dramatic about this. I think you need a Happy Pill and a Happy Meal.
lol I responded to what you and your poll creator stated. You can't say NO ONE liked them. I did, and obviously you asked for them so, was that not the start of greediness? "No, mom I don't care for them, but I WANT you to get it for me" That's the attitude that parents are responsible for explaining to their kids that needs to be corrected. You basically helped prove my point
When was the last time you went to a McDonald's, dumbass, you don't have to ask for the toys, THEY JUST GIVE THEM TO YOU. I can't even believe that you have been to one if you don't even know that. By that virtue I can only conclude that you haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about. My case is in favor of toys by charge or request only but it seems as if I am the only one of us reading these replies.
Not once have I ever uttered those words and the only point you or I have proved here is that you've missed your doseage of lithium.
Is it normal to want McDonald's to stop giving out toys?
