Is it normal to want McDonald's to stop giving out toys?

  • I personally don't go there. In a perfect world, McDonald's wouldn't exist. However since McDonald's does exist and isn't going away anytime soon, realistically I think we can only hope to mitigate the damage.

In SF they charge 10 cents for the toy, they were prohibited from giving it away free in high-calorie meals. I don't agree with nanny state laws however in this case the target consumers are children. And the offender is McDonald's. Fuck McDonald's. But no, I have to stick by my principles and say the ban is wrong. The parents should be responsible for their children's health, it's not McDonald's fault they are obese or unhealthy just because they slip a toy in the meal.
