we are in a open relationship, so it's all fine, but if my girl sleeps at another friends place or i wake up for work to find another girl in her room, i automatically assume something "happened", even if nothing did and it was just a normal sleep-over for lack of public transportation during night.
It's human nature, and very hard to explain such situations, even if one is innocent. I feel sorry for OP though, so many people do things that are wrong and get away with it, she did not and gets punished.

Yes and its not appropriate to have a bf and to sleep in your best friend(male) bed for the night. How does he know that? She has no evidence of not doing it either. She should not have been so stupid to begin with. Its understandable her boyfriend would be upset. Even if she did do something she would react the same way and lie about it. So what do you really expect him to do in such a situation? Op also does not seem to understand why he is mad. So she probably does not understand the rules of a relationship. Certien things you do not do!
