Is it normal to want an apocalypse?

Is it normal to actually WANT an apocalypse to happen? Like a zombie apocalypse or a solar flare or something to happen that wont destroy all humanity but that will wipe out a large portion of the population. Not because I hate people and everyone should die but because humanity is destroying earth and I value nature and animal life over humans because we in general are horrible creatures. We look down at each other and we torture each other and we harm innocent animals and try to justify it by saying 'they're just animals they dont have feelings' and we hurt children and do so many horrible things we take and take and take without thinking about what will happen and maybe and apocalypse could make us see how we've ruined the world and it would give us a second chance, a chance to change and be better. Is this normal..?

Is It Normal?

  • Nothing says love for animals and nature like saying you want it all destroyed...You do realize that a zombie apocolypse would involve killing humans and animals. A solar flare would destroy a lot of nature aswell.

Although, I want an apocolypse, I like the idea of survival at all costs, everything is permitted.

    • ^ This.
With exception: I don't necessarily 'want' an apocalypse. Still, I would be up for the challenge.

      • That is all true I guess I ment it as something that would happen that would help the earth grow back and thrive the way it once was because we are destroying earth

And I'd like the challenge of trying to survive even though I'd probably die XD

  • Yes, animals have feelings, too. The thing is, their feelings are just as complex as ours. They even kill their's and other's children. They consume and destroy like we do, they just dont have knowledge to do as much damage. No, we shouldn't harm them. We shouldn't harm each other, just the same. We are not apart from animals and nature, except to say we have knowledge- which we should use wisely.

    • But animals don't have the thought process to understand what they are doing they simply do these things to survive we understand what we're doing is wrong and we murder each other for FUN which I understand having thoughts about killing or dreaming about it but when you actually do it its wrong and we understand that we're wrong animals dont

  • I'm confused. You would like some kind of animated corpses made by Black Magic, sorcerers or angels to disclose something hidden from the majority of people by falsehood and misconception, to end life on Earth so that some people can live in an everlasting Kingdom ruled under the suzerainty of a Jewish King who is purportedly going to be brought back to life, and is in fact Jesus of Nazareth?
I think it's time that people stop believing in West African Vodun (Voodoo) and so-called 'teachings' by John of Patmos, who was banished to a remote island, by the Romans, who I believe, quite rightly, viewed him as a threat to civilization.

    • Actually I don't believe in god or Jesus of any of that what I was referring to was a disease that could drive people crazy it's basically an advanced and mutated form of the mad cow desiease. They wouldn't technically zombies because they wouldn't be dead but they would be crazy as hell and I don't believe in religion and all that bull

  • Sure, it's normal as a fleeting thought, but if it actually did happen and you survived, I'd bet you'd wish you never wished that.
