I'm an owner of beauty salon. Over the years, I have had a number or male clients who came to the salon for services that catered to their feminine side. I provide their services without judging their intent.
Whatever works for you I guess. It's not normal, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. In a liberal, tolerant society, you should be able to do what you want, provided you don't abuse anybody.
As another crossdresser, honesty is always (usually) the best thing. However if you knew you were a crossdresser or had gender identity issues, Maybe you should have told her before you married. You know SOONER OR LATER the wife will notice something out of place. Women are DAMN GOOD WITH THE WOMEN'S INTUITION. Someday you might forget to wipe off the lipstick you were playing with, or you might forget to put something either away out of site, or something of hers you forget to put back where it was, exactly as it was. They may not be saying anything, but they keep shit in their memory, then one day it all comes out at once when they decide to. Has your wife ever had even a hint about how you feel ? Have you ever had discussion about different issues you mentioned ? If not you might want to figure out how to have that conversation. You didn't mention ages, but either way you are not being fair to her, and you are not being fair to yourself. You are living in a closet so to speak, when you can be living in the wide open world. I'm saying BOTH OF YOU COULD BE HAPPIER with a few adjustments in life. If you have never talked about it with her she might even be supportive of you cross dressing at home maybe even be ok with you going out in public dressed, if you want to go out dressed as female. Either way I encourage you to find someway to start the conversation, watch Jerry Springer with some transsexuals or crossdressers on. Get her reactions and go from there. Are there kids in the marriage ? Depending on their ages of any. But also if you want to find some support and ways to talk to her, or ways to just try and figure things out, go to www.crossdressers.com . You will be able to find support, talk to other GG's (genetic girls). Go there and see if it helps. Like I said I am also a CD since age 13. I have had to explain myself more times than I can remember. I realize you are feeling more than just a CD but that site will still help you.
You're not trapped in the wrong body. There are NO facts and studies with even remotely decent information to back that up. You have other issues you need to address.
I started cross dressing at a very young age -,5 yrs old and as I got older fell prey to masculine norms. During my teens I used to wear make up and cross dress. Been married 20 years and have kept this private. Can’t be healthy,
