It's normal for just about anyone to want to own just about any kind of pet, really. Myself, I'd love a nice eclectus or similar. I've had smaller birds like canaries, but you can't really tame or handle most of them very well, and in the future, I would prefer an animal that I can actually interact with on a greater level than just whistling at them through their cage bars. As for parrots in specific, the potential to talk and mimic is particularly intriguing. c:
