    Great, as long as you don't keep it in a cage. Your best bet is to go somewhere parrots live in the wild and just adopt them as pets in your mind, help them if they need it, but otherwise just enjoy looking at them and leave them largely alone.

            Do you by any chance have a parrot? You do? Can I... see it? Please? Oh joy! What a beautiful little morsel *cough* I mean macaw. Can I perhaps hold the bird for a little while? Oh, you're so kind.

            Nom! Did you see it? Nom! Oh no! In the mayhem, your bird appears to have flown away *cough* and left a tail feather stuck in my teeth.
