Is it normal to want a massive conflict?

Well if your a solider that's understandable because some become addicted to the danger and excitement of war and then can't function back in normal society but if not then that would make you like most a bored person who has never truly been in a dangerous situation and has yet to realize that war is cool but only from a distance
