Alright. This is my first post. So, is it normal to want a girl to have an obsessive love for you? Now..don't get me wrong..i I don't mean that kinda obsession where they ask about your every move, or are ready to murder someone for you.. I meant that happy kind of obsession where if they see you they'll be really happy, or they always think about you, and stuff like that.. Well here's an example: if you've ever seen Sonic The Hedgehog (you probably have) its like the obsession where that other hedgehog (Amy Rose) is always loving him and telling him costantly. I know this sounds really immature, but please..help me out on this one... Also, this might be because I've never had a girlfriend before.. Normally you'd think, "wow that guy must be ugly then", but I'm really not! I'm just shy that's all. But yeah.. Is It Normal?

    Totally normal. I think a lot of people wants that kind of girlfriend, someone who constantly reminds you that you're loved.

    To be honest, it's not that cute if it's an ugly girl (yes, I understand physical appearance is what people also desire, you can thumb me down for not going by the rules that you yourself don't run by).
    I have had this happen twice, one with an little over average girl, and one ugly. The ugly one was just annoying.

      LOL I have had guy friends that have been driven mad by said ugly girls. Personally, I've had ugly guys and girls take fancy to me and it's fucking annoying.

    Yes its normal. I wish the same thing. Ive been in a couple of bad relationships wher the other person doesnt show much affection & i hav to say it sucks.

    Are you the person who posted the "wanting to be like a character", and wanted to be like sonic the hedgehog then as well?
    Also, I have had this, and girls being really clingy is often off-putting I find...

    Anyway I would say it's normal. When I like a guy I feel that way, like I miss him when I don't see him and write him on Facebook just to say hi, but sometimes I'm afraid I'm being annoying. But it's good to know there are guys who like nice girls :)
