Is it normal to want a girl to date you for money?

A couple years ago, I went through puberty in California. Basically, that meant I was surrounded by a bunch of super hot girls that were usually very well off. Moving across the country and growing up, I'm still attracted to California Gurls. Unfortunately, because of the high beauty standards I've developed, I have a ton of trouble dating. The girl has to be a 10 in my book or it's not worth it. Thankfully, what I think is beautiful is out of the norm. I don't feel attracted at all to Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, or Natalie Portman. I like athletic builds and don't care about T or A.
I'm smart, nice, popular, and I consider myself attractive. Unfortunately, I might think too much for my own good. As a male, I like to wonder what my life would be like if I was the opposite gender. I think that if I was a woman, I'd be super attractive and slutty haha. I would also date guys based on how much money they have and whether they would spend it on me or not. Love is for loser, money is all that matters.
Simply put, if I was a girl, I would look for rich guys. Therefore, as a guy, I would like to date girls that only care about me because of my money. Sadly, I'm not rich so I can't get those type of girls. I'm in a existential dilemma! Is it normal?

    If you think that financial status should be the defining element of your appeal, then you're pretty much worthless as a human being, in my book.

      Sorry, I didn't make it clear in my question. I don't think financial status should be the defining element of my appeal. However, science and anecdotal evidence proves that the number one appeal to women is safety and security, i.e. money in our society. I know that if I was a girl I would marry rich so it hurts that I'm not good enough for myself.

      Haha thanks. But strip club girls are horribly ugly. I don't get how anyone gets turned on by them. No offense to any strip club girls BTW, you work hard and often have negative salaries so my sympathies go out to you.

    I think, honestly, you might as well give your hand (or which ever tool you use to whack off) a name, because the two of you are going to be spending a lot of quiet evenings together. You want a superficial girl, who wants you for your money, but yet you have none? Am I reading this correctly? If your serious, then you need to do some real soul searching because at this point your nothing but a shallow puddle. Men like you are the reasons I have reservations about dating. . .
