  • Smoking depletes oxygen in the blood and the brain. It acts really quickly and the early effects are feeling dizzy and/or sick. For reasons I confess I don't understand, you get used to it, and it stops happening.

I know you told us not to tell you to quit, so I'm not, but I will tell you something about quitting. Say quitting after seven weeks was as hard as picking up a penny. Quitting after seven years is like lifting a car. I've done both. I'm not telling you to stop. Just letting you know how it is.

    • i don't have an addictive personality and i don't have a problem to stop anytime, while this story waited for approval i smoked 3 more cigarettes and i think i'm getting used to it but i don't feel like i'm getting addicted since i haven't smoked for a day and half and i don't feel like i want to.
