To me and my husband it's normal. It would be abnormal if the passion were not satisfied. He's been doing this for me many years. I say "For Me" because years ago it was my idea. We are older and very close. Him loving me like this is very special. Things like this happen over time. We have planned sessions and we both enjoy this. I don't know if this is true love for other people but it sure does the trick for me. One never knows why until they try.
