I don't think it is good for your mental health. Unless you're actually using a punchbag or something to get the anger out, you are effectively bottling it up. Trust me, I get annoyed a lot, and admitting to yourself that you're angry rather than staying calm and distracting yourself actually makes it worse.
If you're a trained expert or something, correct me if I'm wrong :)
