Is it normal to wake up feeling shaky, nauseous, and scared?

This has been happening a lot lately. I don’t remember having a bad dream. Sure I have stress but it’s not like it’s an unmanageable amount.

When I was a heavy smoker I used to wake up in that state: it took me years to realise it was overnight nicotine withdrawal.

If there are issues in your life which are causing you stress, maybe they're hitting you when you first wake up because your defences are down from sleeping?

It could be many things. Is it just upon normal waking in the morning, or is it in the night?
Could be hormones or anxiety aside from blood sugar.

But it happens that something in a dream can make me inexplicably uncomfortable without the dream being obviously bad. Dont remember getting nauseous though
