Is it normal to wait this long?

This girl that I started to like a few months ago led me on alot. She would tell me things like "I definately see you and I as being more than friends," or "the only thing that is keeping us from being together is my boyfriend."

Well when she broke up with her boyfriend, a week or so later I asked her out, expecting her to say yes, after how much she had told me. Instead she said, "I'll think about it.". So when I'd see her again I'd ask her if she made up her mind and she would always say that she's still thinking about it. Well this went on for like a WHOLE MONTH (felt like an eternity). I began to think that it's a no and she just doesn't have the heart to tell me no.

But just recently she said that she's starting to like me and the reason she kept saying "Im still thinking" is because she needed time and wasn't ready for a boyfriend. She said she doesn't know how much time she needs but it's a short amount of time.

I'm so sick of waiting just say yes already!
