Is it normal to very, very rarely brush your teeth?

  • I rarely brush my teeth. Maybe only every few weeks, or if I've had something staining/sugary/creamy, etc.
I've extremely healthy teeth, never had a cavity in my life. I do drink water regularly (which is probably more than most of you, you self-claimed Saints), and chew gum or swish with mouthwash when I'm cautious of breath, which I've never had issues with.

You don't get bad breath from not brushing. Bad breath doesn't get caught up in, or even caused by plaque and build up. It's in your throat, which you'll have a wonderful time trying to fix just by brushing the front three inches of your mouth.

I'm English, born and bred, so your so-oft-disproven theory is wrong.

    • Same hygiene as this guy but my teeth are perfectly white. I have no problems with my teeth. I've got a family friend that is a dentist and he checks my teeth often. I haven't had a cavity in years and I don't brush regularly either. I brush maybe every 3-4 months with no Problems of halitosis or the like.
