It kind of makes sense that brushing too often could be as harmful as not brushing enough. Brushing too hard / often could be stripping away enamel.
I've been thinking recently that toothpaste is an irony. It's sweet, and we're rubbing it on our teeth though dentists tell us to stay away from sweets..weird? O_o
Is it normal to very, very rarely brush your teeth?

I know it doesn't actually have sugar in it, I just find it a little ironic is all.
