My granny had started brushing her teeth when she was around 50. She's 76 now and has no cavities and all her teeth are pearly white and strong. I've read some articles about some tribes that never brush their teeth and they have no cavities whatsoever. Some of them chew some herbs. An Indian friend told me that his family also never brushed, just chewed cardamon and some home made chewing gum, made with cloves, beeswax and some other spices.
Is it normal to very, very rarely brush your teeth?
