Is it normal to use a unisex changing room with children.

My wife and I are members of a very small health club and we have had a letter to say that they are going to be redoing the floors in the changing rooms as water was leaking though or something like that. It is going to taking a few weeks so we had an extra months membership added for free. As they do a lot of classes in the pool for single sex things like mother and baby things they are keeping one changing room open and if anyone wants to come along you could but it would be a unisex changing room. With it having a small membership you tend to know most of the people. Would you feel happy changing and showering in front of people you know and there wives, husbands and children?

    Having spent many days at a nude beach, it doesn't bother me if other people see me change clothes. I've also become accustomed to dads bringing their daughters into the men's room while I'm peeing in the urinal right in front of them. As long as everyone behaves appropriately, it shouldn't be a big deal.

    you should enjoy mate. In France this is quite normal, and there are nearly always young girls (up to say 12) changing in the mens locker room with thier fathers. Always a boner for for seeing their cute little cunny's!! And them too, you know they're staring at your dick !!

    The human body is a beautiful thing, there should be no problem.
    I'm sure your children know that boys and girls are different, and it should only take 5min. To explain this to them, puberty hair, there's a right time and place ect. If they have any further questions tell them you will explain when you get home.
    Teaching them that it's not right to see someone naked will create body issues they will have about themselves.
    The only problem is if someone is being inappropriate.

    All of the unisex changerooms that I've ever been in had the option of privacy by having individual locking stalls. I find it strange that yours doesn't, but I live in North America and maybe you don't. I wouldn't want to use a public changeroom without at least a stall for privacy. Yikes!

        I'm still trying to figure out how that reply wasn't on topic .... since the poster stated that he / she wouldn't feel comfortable in a unisex changeroom unless there were personal stalls.

        I mean off topic would be saying something like... "I would have turned into a drooling lunatic, slaughtered the grand cleric and run through the streets of Denerim in my small clothes, I guess."

          Because it is not a unisex changing room all the time just for the few weeks while they are fixing the floor in the other changing room.
