when upvotes are anonymous, at least. not necessarily ego jacking, like, to make people see your comment and think its reputable (when its honestly obvious one else in the comments section knows what they're talking about)

    I only do it if I have a certain number and I want it changed . It's strange of me to feel this way but if on face book or something I had 9 likes , I would prefer to see 10 and up vote it myself . I wouldn't do it to appear to look better . That seems pointless to me .
