  • You sound like you have self-awareness enough to realise that you are doing this. Perhaps use some of your sociability to bring others out of themselves and allow them to shine. But not in a holiday rep kind of way. No-one likes that person!

    • Dappled I always look forward to your responses they're so insightful. Thing is a lot of my friends are also bright bubbly people, so when I'm with them I don't notice just how much attention I can draw without even trying. Its only when they're not there that I stick out like a sore thumb. Not that I'd let that stop me

      • I don't think it's too much of a problem. I wilfully try to draw attention away from myself when I'm first in a big group of strangers, so anyone who is helping me do that by attracting attention to themselves is fine by me.
