Is it normal to tweet for the sake of increasing number of your tweets

1. I don't have a twitter.
2. Any actions that have to do with numbers will increase each and every time you do them.
3. Do you think this kind of even matters to your followers? Some of my followers on tumblr will actually Unfollow me if I have posted anything in a long time. It honestly irritates me, but I've realised that I shouldn't let it get to me. There are more "important" things I could get to if I didn't spend so much time and panic about followers on tumblr. It's pointless and it causes too much stress.

If you're a complete shithead and a tool, yes. Normal.

Twitter is terrible just like most social networking sites they only cause trouble and lies and I cant understand how getting a false sense of achievement through increasing followers is anything to want go out into the real world and socialise the true sense of achivement is much greater and real

I have no Twitter followers. Whenever I tweet (which is rarely, for obvious reasons) it is the exact equivalent of walking into an empty room and shouting at the wall. If I were to tweet, to increase my number of tweets would probably be the only reason :P
