Is it normal that my boyfriend takes 5 minutes before we leave the house each time to switch off all the powerpoints in the house?

    "power points"?
    Turning off light and appliances = OK
    Closing breakers = strange
    I especially don't trust dryers.

      Yeah I call them "Powerpoints" too

      Well I can tell you about an aunt that does the same thing - it started after she lost her house to a fire due to somekind of electrical fault.

      I do it to an extent like the standby lights annoys me at times as I dislike paying for electricity bills *sighs*

    Yep. I do it too. Except one light that's on a timer for night time.
