i would recommend meditation (being at peace with yourself sounds cliche but it works wonders), it's like going to the gym except it's for the mind. i can give you more info if you need
barring that please go see a psychoanalyst, they can tell you a lot about yourself if you are honest with them
barring that go see a psychiatrist,
barring that i would recommend that you at least talk to someone about your situation (essentially same as the previous two recommendations)
